PROJECT 1 : Analysis report
ABOUT THE PROJECT
This project was a group work whereby we had to create an digital booklet documenting a heritage building and an augmented reality poster showcasing the selected heritage building.
The task was aimed to understand how historical periods are represented architecturally and thus the development of it, and as well as to allow us to choose and use the suitable visuals and verbal architecture to represent them. We were also required to practice team work in order to complete the assignment on time.
MY EXPERIENCE
My group leader had spilt us into 2 groups - one to create the A4 booklet, and the other to create the augmented reality poster. I was tasked to help conduct the overall research needed for the group. This included researching and evaluating data, and assembling it for the use of the other members.
Through being tasked to do so, I had learned a lot on the building that my group had chosen- Angkasapuri. I gauged into varies information such as the history of the building and how it came to be and various architectural elements of the structure such as the layout, building elements, and as well as finding other structures with similar elements and analyzing them in comparison to our chosen building.
Overall I had a great experience working on this project as my group leader had guided the group to the best of her abilities. My group mates were easy to communicate with and to work with and I am grateful to have been able to complete this project together with them.

PROJECT 2 : Sketching Analysis
This project required us to analysis and interpret architecture from various eras which included the pre historic era, ancient Egyptian era, ancient Greece & Rome era, the Middle Ages and Renaissance, and the Age of Enlightenment. We were tasked to create an A4 booklet containing the analysis of 5 buildings various architectural elements of the buildings which included the organization of form and space, the circulation and path-space relationship, axis, massing symmetry, balance, rhythm and as well as the history of the building and the creator. We had to choose the suitable wording, font and color palette for our work.
Personally, this task managed to educate me in depth about the architecture of various times. I also had learn how to do research efficiently and effectively as well as to simplify and arrange data. My tutor had also helped me throughout the task as she provided me proper and sufficient advice on composing the posters.

OVERALL PERSPECTIVE OF THE MODULE
The lectures and tutorials were delivered through a face to face mode which I enjoyed and appreciated. Lectures were also sometimes conducted through an online basis which allowed a more flexible time arrangement for me. Tutorials and assessments were submitted through the Taylor's applications which allowed me to submit the work quickly and compile it properly as compared to a face to face submission. My tutors and module coordinators ensured that I was properly guided and provided assistance when needed which I am fully grateful for. Overall I had a pleasant learning experience throughout the module and gained much knowledge.
